Johannesburg airport

[img_assist|nid=204|title=|desc=|link=none|align=center|width=480|height=640] There's no mistaking what time it is in South Africa. From the moment I got off the plane in the Johannesburg airport, I was stepping all over World Cup fever. The carpet in the terminal was red with Coca-Cola bottles and soccer balls printed on it. World Cup fever also hit me all over the face. On every wall was an advertisement related to the event, and huge stuffed mascots stood in the walkways. Special World Cup information kiosks are already set up. I walked out to the street to find huge welcome signs and flags and billboards outside. If you arrived in this country for any reason other than to see the big soccer matches, you're out of step. But then I reentered the airport. I was only passing through. I'll be back that way, but first I had to catch a flight on to Lesotho. [img_assist|nid=202|title=|desc=|link=none|align=center|width=480|height=640]
